Sanda (散打) or Sanshou (散手) are two synonims which describes free fight in chinese martial arts. Sanda is constitutive element of every Kung Fu style and by importance, in traditional chinese martial arts training, is just after form (Taolu) practice.
Sanda term is often used to refer to competition Kung fu fights, where fight is restricted by defined rules (set of approved punches and kicks, use of protective gears...).
